Our Approach to Supporting Your Child
MW Academic Support works with children beginning at age 4 through 3rd grade, including students preparing to enter elementary school, students currently enrolled in school, and families who choose homeschooling. Support is tailored to each child’s current skill level and developmental stage to promote steady growth and confidence in learning.
Academic Focus Areas

Early Learning Foundations (Age 4)
Early Learning Foundations are designed for children who have not yet begun elementary school or are preparing to enter kindergarten. Instruction focuses on building readiness skills that support a smooth transition into structured learning and early Florida Standards–aligned expectations.

Sessions may include early literacy activities, basic number concepts, fine motor development, listening skills, and learning routines. Lessons are engaging, hands-on, and designed to build confidence, attention, and early academic habits.
Instruction is aligned with Florida Standards and adapted to meet each child’s developmental level and learning goals.

What a Session Looks Like
Sessions are delivered through 1:1 instruction and include a mix of guided practice, skill-building activities, and opportunities for review. Lessons are adjusted based on the child’s progress and are designed to keep learning engaging and supportive.
Florida Standards–Aligned Instruction
Instruction is aligned with Florida Standards where applicable and adapted to meet each child’s developmental level and learning goals.
